Located in Marie Byrd Land on the SW side of Edward VII Peninsula at the N. end of the Rockerfeller Mountains on the highest point on Mt. Fitzsimmons, unmomumented snow station.

Survey mark - 2" x 2" wooden stake set in snow.

Surveyed on 31 December 1966.

Horizontal Datum - Position based on the Astronomic Position of Snoopy Astro determined during the 1966-67 Season.

Vertical Datum - Mean sea level
