Located in Marie Byrd Land in the Ford Ranges at the S. end of the Haines Range at the SW side of Hammond Glacier on Mount Van der Veer, unmonumented snow station.

Survey mark - 2" x 2" wooden stake set in snow.

Horizontal Datum - Position based on the Astronomic Position of Snoopy Astro determined during the 1966-67 Season.

Surveyed on 14 November 1966.

Vertical Datum - Mean sea level
