Located at the N. side of the Getz Ice Shelf on Shepherd Island on highest snow point on Mt. Colburn, unmonumented snow station.

Survey mark - 2" x 2" wooden stake set in snow.

Horizontal Datum - Position based on the Astronomic Position of Snoopy Astro determined during the 1966-67 Season.

Surveyed on 14 January 1967.

Vertical Datum - Mean sea level
