Located in Marie Byrd Land in the Denfeld Mountains of the Ford Ranges
approximately 5 km NE of and near the E. foot of Mount McCormick on top
of highest point on small rocky nunatak elongated in a N-S direction, monumented
station.
Survey mark - Standard USGS tablet set in drill hole in rock outcrop,
stamped "SNOOPY ASTRO 1966-67".
Horizontal Datum - Position based on the Astronomic Position of Snoopy
Astro determined during the 1966-67 Season.
Surveyed on 2 November 1966.
Vertical Datum - Mean sea level
