Located in Marie Byrd Land approximately 83 km SSE of Cape Burke and approximately 42 km NE of Mt. Vance on the higest snow top on Matikonis Peak, unmonumented snow station.

Survey mark - 2" x 2" wooden stake set in snow

Horizontal Datum - Position based on the Astronomic Position of Snoopy Astro determined during the 1966-67 Season.

Surveyed on 30 December 1966.
