Electronic Traverse of 1966-67-68)
Elevations determined by altimeter traverse based on Byrd
Station elevation of 1530 meters (The altimetry elevations have been adjusted
to agree with the elevations determined from the Marie Byrd Land Electronic
Traverse of 1966-67-68).
Wild T-2 used for angular measurements.
Located in Marie Byrd Land at the E. end of the Usas Escarpment on Benes
Peak, monumented station.
Survey mark - drill hole in top of small rock approximately 16 meters
S. of N. edge of peak.
Surveyed on 11 December 1967.
Horizontal Datum - Position based on the Astronomic Position of Snoopy
Astro determined during the 1966-67 Season.
Vertical Datum - Mean sea level
