Located approximately 8 km NE of summit of Mount Murphy on Benedict Peak, unmonumented snow station.

Survey mark - bamboo stake set in on highest point of Benedict Peak.

Horizontal Datum - Position based on the Astronomic Position of Toney Astro determined during the 1967-68 Season.

Surveyed on 11 January 1968.

Vertical Datum - Mean sea level
