GPS survey to establish mapping control stations and to occupy selected existing USGS momumented control stations. Data has not been differentially post-process to obtain precise coordinates.

Located approximately 11 km N of the NW end of Siple Island on the of Maher Island at the E end of of a large E/W rock outcrop in the central part of the island, monumented station.

Survey mark - Standard USGS tablet in the central part set in bedrock, stamped "CAMPBEL 1991-1992".

Surveyed on 20 February 1992.

Horizontal Datum - GPS - WGS-84 pseudorange point position/ Estimated accuracy: +/- 100 meters

Vertical Datum - GPS None
