Located on Thurston Island in the Walker Mountains directly S. of the base of Noville Penninsula on the E. most of two peaks on Mount Hawthorne, unmonumented station.
Survey mark - 2" x 2" wood stake set in snow surface.
Surveyed on 20 January 1969.
Horizontal Datum - Position based on the Astronomic Position of Camp II determined during the 1968-69 Season.
Vertical Datum - Mean sea level
