Located on the S. central side of Thurston Island approximately 21 km E. of Von der Wall Point on the southmost peak of two on Mount Dowling, unmonumented station.
Survey mark - 2" x 2" wood stake .
Surveyed on 20 January 1969.
Horizontal Datum - Position based on the Astronomic Position of Camp II determined during the 1968-69 Season.
Vertical Datum - Mean sea level
