Located on the SE edge of Thurston Island approximately 7 km S. of the Savage Glacier on Harrison Nunatak, intersected snow station.
Survey mark - highest snow peak.
Surveyed on 23 January 1969.
Horizontal Datum - Position based on the Astronomic Position of Camp II determined during the 1968-69 Season.
Vertical Datum - Mean sea level
