Located on the Eights Coast approximately 30 km SW of the S end of Farwell
Island, approximately 17 km NE of Mt. Loweth, and approximately 9 km S of
the S edge of the Abbot Ice Shelf in the SE end of a crevasse area, occupied
snow station.
Survey mark - 2' x 2" wood stake set in snow surface.
Surveyed on 26 January 1969.
Horizontal Datum - Position based on the Astronomic Position of Camp
II determined during the 1968-69 Season.
Vertical Datum - Mean sea level
