Located in southern Palmer Land approximately 58 km NW of Mount Coman on Galkin Nunatak, moumented station.

Survey mark - 303 Cartridge case hammered into crack in rock covered with a tin and 1.5 m rock cairn designated "GALKIN".

Surveyed on 12 December 1974.

Horizontal Datum - WGS 72/Knight Adjustment 1988, RMS error 11 m.

Vertical Datum - Corrected geodetic heights to the geoid using NASA GEM 10 geoid model.
